Who was Robert Lewis?

Along with Meisner, Adler and Strasberg, Robert Lewis was a master teacher who came from The Group Theatre. He also headed the Yale Drama Department during which time Meryl Streep and many other greats, studied with him. Sandra had the good fortune to study directly with “Bobby” while living and working in NYC. (To Sandra’s knowledge, she is the only coach in LA & MPLS teaching pure ROBERT LEWIS’ SCRIPT ANALYSIS Technique.)

LEWIS ON-CAMERA CLASS Includes:

Laying down the FOUNDATION. Understanding and using the basic tools of Method acting. Creating on-screen presence.

ON-CAMERA TECHNIQUES. Fun exercises help you master on-camera skills making you a very believable actor. Stage and film actors become more comfortable with hitting your mark, close ups, reaction shot, pauses; thinking on-camera and multiple takes. Take home a DVD of your on-screen class work to study and make improvements.

ROBERT LEWIS TECHNIQUE takes the guesswork out of script analysis, and put you in command of any text. His method makes redirection a breeze and gives your acting great energy and focus.

COLD READING EMPHASIS. Interpreting scripts quickly with Lewis Script Analysis. Strengthening your oral reading skills. Delivering direction/adjustments easily. Making strong, imaginative choices that get you work.

Lewis On-Camera Class Meets: For Three Months

In-Person Classes: May: 15, 16, 17, 18 and July: 24, 25, 26, 27

Skype Classes: Monday Nights, June 4, 11, and July 9, 16.

Those Choosing To Shoot Their Reel: July 23-29

Class Time: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM (class may run late)
